John Bremer, PhD is a pioneering leader in market research and data science, bringing over 20 years of experience in driving impactful innovation and value for clients and stakeholders. As Chief Product and Research Officer at Tenetic, he leverages his deep expertise in data analysis, data science, and research strategy to develop cutting-edge solutions that transform insights into action.

Outside of Tenetic, John is the President and Founder of Phantom 4 Solutions, providing on-demand consulting for organizations seeking executive-level expertise in research, data science, and analytics. In addition, he serves as an adjunct faculty member at the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago, teaching courses on quantitative and survey methods.

John has held key leadership positions in the industry, including Global Chief Research Officer roles at Circana and The NPD Group. During his tenure at these companies, John was responsible for driving methodological advancements and enhancing data quality across a range of consumer and retail research initiatives. Prior to NPD, he served as Toluna's Chief Strategy Officer, where he played a pivotal role in the organization's research capabilities. During this time, he managed the research process, developed innovative methodologies in sampling, weighting, data fusion, and advanced analytics, and established several patents in his and Toluna's name.

John is known for his ability to solve complex challenges with creativity and insight, ensuring that businesses harness the full power of data to achieve their goals. He is an established expert in every major data type used in the market research industry, specializing in non-probability sampling, rare populations, selection bias, and online survey research. His notable achievements include developing sample selection and weighting methods like SmarSelect and SmartCorrect, and producing successful election forecasts in the US and UK. Notably, he was the top pollster in the US in 2000 and 2008, and in the UK in 2005 and 2009, and was the only major polling expert to correctly predict the result of the Scottish Referendum.
